When stacking boxes - stack the glassware and fragile items boxed on top.
Label you boxes clearly by the type of room. Example: Kitchen, Bath, Master
Bedroom. If you have a total of 50 boxes – Label each box accordingly such as 1/50, 2/50 & 3/50
If you plan to retrieve some items you will want to place these items in front of the door that opens your unit.
Be sure any fragile items are protected before placing them on the concrete floor.
Wrap any glass tops or shelving in paper pads – be sure these are not set on the bare concrete floor.
Do not store any combustible or flammable items such as aerosol cans, BBQ gas tanks, gas cans etc…
Be sure to utilize all space – tools can be stored in a large trash bin. Stash items inside other items. Line your empty clothes hamper with a plastic liner and put items inside.
